Maxwell Lorow

Based in Boca Raton for over 15 years, Maxwell brings a unique global perspective and diverse leadership background to AKD Consultants. Since joining the firm in 2018, he has played a pivotal role in managing the Florida office, expanding the client base, and delivering expert tax preparation services.

Maxwell holds a Master’s degree in Accounting with a focus on taxation and tax strategy. His financial career began in the private sector, where he served as a branch manager for two finance firms and consulted for a burgeoning startup in Pompano Beach. Committed to community service, he also volunteered with the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program to support local residents with tax preparation.

Prior to his career in finance, Maxwell spent nearly a decade abroad. He lived in Italy for three years, attending vocational school and preparing for missionary work, followed by six years in the Dominican Republic. There, he held a leadership role at an orphanage in La Romana, receiving formal training from Father Flanagan’s Girls and Boys Town, and worked in fundraising for Fundación MIR. Fluent in English, Spanish, and Italian, Maxwell leverages his diverse experience to connect with clients from all walks of life.
