Adam Dworkin started preparing tax returns for his family and friends in high school and increased his knowledge to corporations and small businesses after achieving a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from San Jose University in 1992.
He began working at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation after college, and went on to work for a small regional CPA firm. During his time at the firm, Adam became a licensed California CPA in 1998. He is currently working on obtaining a Massachusetts CPA license. Throughout his career, Adam has helped small to large companies navigate complex accounting and tax issues. Prior to starting AKD Consultants, Adam worked as a controller for various companies, such as USWebCKS, SSH, ZipCar, and HEFA. This allowed him to gain experience in different industries and stages of business, from High Tech to Not-for-Profit, with income ranging from zero to hundreds of millions of dollars.
